Our four fields of expertise
Our team is composed of experts in artificial intelligence, renewable energies, meteorology and energy trading. Our know-how in these 4 combined areas is key to provide accurate power wind and solar forecasts adapted to the needs of energy traders, green power producers and grid operators.
Many of our team members have a background in the wind and solar industries. Because we understand their specificities, we can identify and select the key input data for each type of installation and optimize our algorithms accordingly. We can also adapt to the different use cases of green power producers.
Almost 40% of our team holds PhDs in computer science Artificial Intelligence. They are thus able to design high-performance algorithms that combine weather and power plants' data to generate the best possible power forecasts.
Our experts are familiar with power traders' day-to-day challenges. Among these, traders have to optimize their positions on day-ahead and intraday power markets while minimizing imbalances costs linked to intermittent power sources. Our power forecasts are precisely designed to answer to these needs.
A good understanding of weather prediction models is critical in order to select and combine them efficiently. For this reason, we rely on the expertise of in-house meteorologists who make sure we always feed state of the art weather data to our algorithms.
